Our Story

Long Stories can be tiring with details so in a gist; I was a full time painter for about 10 years, been an artist for 22 (yup getting on) -back home in Greece- making murals commissions for living and yes, have paid my bills with this job :) . Having studied fashion diluted me down as an academic painter so had to attend endless life drawing classes to go ‘back to normal’ and then been caught out in abstract figurative, the broken as I call it, which I find fascinating, the compositions can be wild and the whole process prolongs the story telling. From what I have been told my own style of painting has got elements of the surreal and stained glass, feedback that I like and of course always checking out ‘who’ gives me a critique; still I’m okay -and go with the flow, my flow that is-. Worked hard to find my own style which most says reminds them of Klimt. ‘That’s good’ I think to myself and after produced the DUX Series between 2005 and 2011, some of them been sold, others gather dust and others decorate my own walls, I thought to try making jewelry. Some of my pieces been sold although not many reviews been received apart from one or two Chinese masks pendants. May be that the public is not ready for my genius yet ahahaha. Also I love ‘old stuff’ and ‘pre-loved’ items as they contain so much energy and life of the own, before even mine begins...Some of those are been sold to small museums in USA and I seem to have a knack in seeing the good stuff that also seem to be rare. Suffice to say that either ways and regardless of my area of interests been an artist is an exhausting, bad paid job and with this I’m referring to the spiritual sensitivity or awareness, the one that puts forms, shapes, history and colors into context …. Oh well that’s that, no fuss, the merchandise speaks for itself, for more pop in my etsy shop to say hi and buy if you feel an urge.
