If you don’t know already you may have noticed that we haven’t posted for a long time. Sadly we are no longer running the business. A number of reasons but mostly rising costs and general life stuff with work and becoming grandparents 😀 I am going to be closing this account down in a couple of weeks. We had the pleasure of having them at our Festive Market in November, and we're not lying when we say they make the BEST cupcakes ever 🤤 They have a small shop on Queens Road, Clarendon Park, where they sell their amazing cakes & bakes as well as fresh coffee. They also specialise in beautiful bespoke celebration cakes 🎂

Males Menswear 🤵
Just up the road from us, Males have been specialising in menswear and suit hire for many years, and they have a lovely range of clothing both casual and smart to buy in-store. Great place to treat a loved one to a new outfit 👔

Another Blaby-based business, Dawn & John specialise in hand-made, natural soy wax candles with 100% essential oils. Their products are beautifully designed and smell divine ✨️

This lovely couple had a stall at our Christmas Fayre in December alongside the tractor run where we had the chance to buy some of their home-made products. Their Port & Red Onion Chutney is fantastic! They have core and seasonal ranges of tasty jams, chutneys, marmalades and more, something for everyone 🍓

Bonita was also with us at our Festive Market selling her beautiful hand-made jewellery & accessories. She also holds regular craft workshops including crochet, knitting & wreath making! 🧶

To counteract what feels like a particularly dark January we are powering through with a different essential oil candle every evening. Last night to cheer ourselves up we lit a Calm and reflected on all the things we did last year as a small independent business. We found ourselves focussing on one particular event. Not a market or a retail opportunity but a beautiful invitation for the second year running from a truly lovely man. This event feels particularly poignant right now for reasons that are pertinent to both John and me.
